WHALE WATCHING SNÆFELLSNES
We had one whale watching tour out of Ólafsvík today and travelled all along the peninsula. As we got to the tip, we spotted a couple of orcas that went for longer feeding dives, going back and forth in the area. We then headed out towards the deeper waters and saw a blow from far, but never got to see the whale this blow belonged to. This was probably a sperm whale that went for a dive just as we came closer. We will try our luck again tomorrow on two tours at 10am and 2pm!
